Disclaimer: If you aren’t into beauty/ skincare this post is not for you, sorry I’m not for everyone feel free to skip this one.

to document all my beauty / skincare adventures so here we are.

If you didn’t read my previous post on my love-hate relationship with a new retinol, allow me to reintroduce my skincare STRUGGLE. I’ve always had oily / combination skin which meant acne has been a main character in my life since I was 17.

I had an awful bout of hormonal acne when I got off birth control a couple years ago and since I’ve been taking a more intentional, holistic approach to (almost) everything in life, I didn’t want to go the usual spironolactone or RX route. No shade to anyone who does — I just wanted to actually address the root cause instead of slapping a pharmaceutical Band-Aid on the situation.

ANYWAYS that journey deserves its own substack (soon!) but the point is my skin has finally gotten it together. So now it’s time to shift focus to the aftermath — scarring, texture, and, yes, the early signs of aging (because these Latina genes can only carry me so far).

Enter: The Glass Skin Laser.
